March 30

11 volunteers showed up this afternoon to sandbag culverts in South Pembina. We were an "experienced" group, the youngest there was 37 years old.

When we finished with the sandbags some of the men helped George Christenson remove the pump from the pond on #9 at the golf course. Saturday morning, the covers will be removed from the greens and equipment moved to safer ground. Any and all help will be appreciated!

High school students will begin filling sandbags this week, weather permitting.

Winter Weather

Stormy  weather throughout most of North Dakota today. No travel is advised in 75%  of the state but, the little triangle from Grand Forks to Langdon to Pembina, has good driving conditions. No snow or rain here yet!
21 people attended the flood committee meeting this afternoon. It was nice to see a couple new faces there. We're waiting for this storm passes to see what effect it will have on spring flooding. The next meeting is scheduled for April 5th but we may need to meet again before then if it starts to melt soon.
