They opened the south end of So Pembina today so I was able to go in and take a few pictures. The river is below 50 ft. today.

I stopped in Pembina on my 10,000 mile train trip in 2008. Pembina is always in my thoughts during floods. Enjoyed my stay at the motel and the town was very friendly.
